osintverse-community/checkdmarc
Checks a domain's SPF, DMARC, MX, BIMI and DNSSEC records and reports problems
No key · Python wheel · 56 installs / 30 days
Finds a domain's subdomains from passive sources, then checks each one's DNS, HTTP status and TLS certificate
Community-packaged from github.com/guelfoweb/knockpy: the registry's community pins the upstream release; the tool is its authors' work. Maintain that project? Claim this package.
Run
Through ot mcp, an agent calls run_tool with this; ot asks you before anything that goes online or touches a target. Set it up: ot mcp install claude (or cursor, vscode, codex, gemini).
{"tool":"osintverse-community/knockpy","target":"example.com","input_type":"domain"}Or just say: "Run osintverse-community/knockpy on example.com with OTInstaller." The registry's read-only MCP server at api.otinstaller.com/mcp can find tools without installing anything.
ot run osintverse-community/knockpy d:example.com --format tableot install osintverse-community/knockpyPython wheel, run in a read-only container (Docker optional with --native) · network allowed · no key · up to 30 min. The first ot run installs the tool after asking once. The example value is the registry's own test input, so this command has run. Drop --format table for JSON.
ot? Install it in one linecurl -fsSL https://get.otinstaller.com/ot | shot release for your machine from GitHub Releases.checksums.txt, and the Ed25519 signature on that file against the key built into the script.ot in /usr/local/bin or ~/.local/bin. }Every tool returns this shape, shaped here from what this tool declares it finds. --format table to read it; ot extract and ot auto to continue.
This repository packages github.com/guelfoweb/knockpy for the OTInstaller Registry as osintverse-community/knockpy. The tool is the work of its authors, under the GPL-3.0 license; this repository only holds the manifest and release workflow.
Report problems with the tool upstream, and problems with the packaging here. If you maintain the upstream project and want to publish it yourself, open an issue or run ot claim osintverse-community/knockpy: the package is transferred to you.
It installs the upstream project's own release from PyPI, pinned by version and hash; nothing here is rebuilt.
The wrapper runs passive recon (--recon) without the wordlist brute force. VirusTotal and Shodan sources need keys saved with the interactive knockpy --setup, which this wrapper can't use, so only the keyless sources run. Each run also saves a report to a SQLite file under /tmp, which is discarded.
ot run osintverse-community/knockpy --domain …
Packaged version: 9.0.0.
knockpy finds subdomain, ip, certificate, url. Tools that take those:
subdomain → 10 toolsip → 6 toolscertificate → 10 toolsurl → 10 toolsot auto, with a saved result
Alternatives to knockpy that also take a domain; ot auto runs every installed one on the same value.
Checks a domain's SPF, DMARC, MX, BIMI and DNSSEC records and reports problems
Reads a server's TLS certificate: names it covers, issuer, validity, fingerprints and JARM
Looks up a domain's A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT, SOA and CAA records
Finds registered look-alike domains for phishing, typosquatting and brand impersonation
Enumerates a domain's DNS: standard records, SRV services, zone transfer checks and DNSSEC
