How to extract emails and contacts from a website

  1. Crawl the site (photon or thescrapper) and collect the addresses, numbers and profiles it lists.
  2. For a project with a public repository, list its contributors and their commit addresses (gitcolombo).
  3. Take the addresses into the email tools and the profiles into the username tools.

Every registry tool here runs on your machine in a sandbox, and ot auto url:… runs all the installed ones on one value.

Before you run one

Do these tools visit the site?

Yes: they crawl it as a visitor would, so the site's logs show the requests. Keep the depth low on small sites, and check its terms if your work needs that.

Are commit addresses current?

They are what each author configured when a commit was made, which may be years old or a former work address. The commit dates say how old each one is.

Do these tools send my search anywhere?

No. ot runs each tool on your own machine in a read-only container that can only reach the sites the tool declares, and results stay in your results folder. The registry only counts installs.
